Inside the Redesigned Loewe.com

LOEWE —recently named the world’s hottest luxury brand— redesigned its e-commerce platform to support the brand’s continued global growth.

The brand’s new digital home is a representation of the evolution of the heritage brand over the last decade. Known for its playful and expressive style, paired with a focus on artisanal craft, LOEWE plays an important role at the intersection of fashion, art, and culture.

LOEWE called upon Work & Co, part of Accenture Song, to partner with its creative leadership and e-commerce teams across Madrid and Paris to revitalize and reimagine its digital shopping experience.

The result is a web design that inspires with its immersive visuals and rich product walls, while maintaining a great user experience and navigation.”

Features of the site include:

  • A new system of editorial and product-led modules to keep the homepage and product landing pages fresh and focused on new collection releases. Loewe.com can accommodate innumerable templates, in turn making the site both more performant and shoppable.
  • Consistency between the stores and the digital experience, taking cues from the impactful visual merchandising style and techniques found in LOEWE flagship Casa locations. Our gutterless grid emphasized the feeling of “shop walls” which could promote products across leather type, look, or seasonality.
  • New, striking PDPs with updated photography and content are core to the new site. To help customers find sought-after information, we created new modules that both educate and anticipate customer questions. We also introduced a persistent right rail to help customers easily configure size, color and material.

In keeping with the playful approach LOEWE fans love, visitors to the new site will also find embedded easter eggs and ongoing features that expose the brand’s personality. At the same time, we kept functionality in focus; the redesigned navigation optimizes for both mobile and desktop.
